Obsessed.

Yay! I'm finally back to blogging! (For those that follow me and read my posts, I'm sorry I kept you waiting so long.)

It's been an interesting/crazy/difficult/busy/awesome four months since I last posted. Life has taken some different turns, but I feel like I learned the things I needed to and I'm excited to see what the future holds from here on out.

So, rather than write a long, boring re-cap (okay, maybe not so boring for those who enjoy a good dose of gossip--the best kind of gossip, of course), I decided to do some photo posts because my new obsession will make that SO easy. :)

Yes, I jumped on the bandwagon back in April and downloaded... Instagram!!! For someone who LOVES photography, but has hardly any time to legitimately practice it, Instagram is PERFECT. Rather than have to tote around my giant SLR, download pics, edit and upload, all I need is this handy app on my phone.

So without any further hoopla about the benefits of Instagram (Except to say if you have an iPhone/Android, download it!!!), here is my first Insta-Installment: The Return.

In early April, my lovely friend Jessica Hilgenberg traveled from colorful Colorado to visit me/Chicago. Below is a documentation of her trip, in no particular order. :)

My brother finally got to meet Jessica, which was sort of a dream come true for him. This was at the Easter party we attended at the Reed's house.

The Easter party would not have been complete without testing out Apple's A.I., Siri.

At Millennium Park in Chicago. We had fun walking around the city, re-visiting our favorite spots.

We also went to a Cubs game with Jess' friend Nicole.

We got a pretty sweet deal at a swanky hotel downtown.

Visits = lots of photo-taking. ;)

We also went to one of our favorite local eateries, Portillo's. Yum!

All set to hit the streets!

When in Chicago, you must always go to the Bean, even if you've seen it a thousand times before.

Took a little stroll down Navy Pier and enjoyed sitting by Lake Michigan.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day.

Excited to be getting a cake shake and reliving our time as college students in the Windy City.

You have to have at least one night where you get dolled up to go out on the town, right?!

Just like the Bean, Giordano's deep dish Chicago-style pizza is an absolute requirement.

And, back on the campus that started it all...

Had an absolutely lovely long weekend with a dear friend. :)
