Souvenirs from this week--an acorn and a gerbera daisy--now sit on my kitchen windowsill. They serve as reminders of other days, good days, spent with good company.
Today was my last day off before I go back to work for one day, then the weekend. I feel like I've been off for forever, so I'm looking forward to getting back to the office. I'm sure there are lots of little (and big) tasks waiting. The list never seems to end, and always gets longer when I have time off.
P.S. Tonight it's starting to feel like fall outside. I don't know about you all, but I love fall. :)
